On 7th July 2026, ICMPD convened a validation workshop at GISCE to present the Institutional and Information Technology Assessment findings for the Ghana Refugee Board. This assessment, supported through the FMM West Africa II project, identified gaps and proposed recommendations to strengthen GRB’s governance, operations, and digital systems.

We were joined by GRB Senior Management, Regional Coordinators, Camp Managers, and partners including UNHCR, NIA, NADMO, the Ministry of the Interior, Foreign Affairs & Gender, GIS, Ghana Police, Attorney-General’s Office and CSOs.

The goal: validate recommendations and agree on practical steps to modernize GRB and improve service delivery for refugees and host communities. Thank you to ICMPD and all partners for this critical support.
