WUSC/Azuansi Farm Institute Supports Refugees through Poultry Project.

On 7th September 2026, WUSC/Azuansi Farm Institute took another important step toward promoting sustainable livelihoods and economic empowerment among refugees at the Krisan Refugee Camp by supporting beneficiaries with 500 fowls under a poultry farming initiative. The support forms part of an ongoing poultry project aimed at providing refugees with practical opportunities to develop their poultry farming skills, generate income, and improve their economic self-reliance. Prior to the arrival of the birds, selected existing poultry houses at the camp were renovated to provide suitable facilities for the project. The presentation of the 500 fowls at the Krisan Refugee Camp was received on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Ghana Refugee Board, Hon. Nana Asare Bediako, by the Regional Coordinator and Management of the Camp.
